Ranji Trophy 2022: Tamil Nadu in driver’s seat;B Sai Sudharsan scores 113 

Tamil Nadu made a strong comeback against Andhra on the second day of the Ranji Trophy match here on Wednesday.

The host’s bowlers struck first removing the last five Andhra wickets for the addition of just 20 runs. Sandeep Warrier and R Sai Kishore took three wickets each.

In reply, Sai Sudharsan scored 113 (180b, 10×4) and in the company of B Aparajith, who scored 88 (193b, 7×4, 2×6), added 163 runs for the second wicket. At stumps on Day 2, Tamil Nadu was 273 for four and will eye a big lead on Thursday.

B.Sai Sudharsan perfromed exceptionally well on the match on wednesday, being totally in command of what he did. Setting the ball rolling with a 65-run stand for the opening wicket with Jagadeesan he stitched 163-run partnership for the second wicket with Baba Aparajith (88) because the hosts ended Day 2 at 273/4.

The Day 3 match has started today.
