Tambaram: Vijay Antony took part in the promotions of ‘Raththam’ a week after the tragic demise of his elder daughter, Meera Vijay Antony.
Fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to appreciate his dedication to the craft.
Director CS Amudhan took to his social media page to inform that Vijay Antony had decided to attend the event to cope with his loss.
Many applauded Vijay Antony for resuming work despite going through an irreparable loss. While a few concerned people posed the question if he was asked to promote the film.
Director CS Amudhan, without mentioning his name, revealed that it was Vijay Antony’s way of coping.

Director CS Amudhan and Vijay Antony joined hands for the first time for ‘Raththam’. Initially, the film was supposed to release on September 28, but was later postponed to October 6 due to overcrowding.
Tipped to be a crime thriller, the film features Vijay Antony, Nandita Swetha, Mahima Nambiar and Remya Nambeesan in pivotal roles.
