Rosily Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chitlapakkam, celebrated its annual day recently during which K S Babai, principal and secretary of Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College was the chief guest.
“The show began with welcome address by J Vitto Placka, the correspondent of the school. Babai addressed the parents and students, emphasising them to give first preference to education at all times. She also spoke about the importance of strengthening the relationship between parents, students and teachers,” the release added.
It further said,” The theme for the Annual Day was “Symbolization of Colours”. The theme was aptly exhibited through a variety of programs including dances and plays. As a part of the celebration, the school toppers, class toppers, full attendance holders, for the academic year 2021-22, were appreciated and awarded prizes and certificates. The teachers of classes X & XII, were appreciated and awarded certificates for achieving cent percent result in both classes. The staff and students of the school paid tribute to the school’s founder, Jacob Placka, who had passed away on January 27, 2020. Principal, Sujatha, presented the annual report. Jothy Ramya, the vice-principal, proposed the vote of thanks.”
