Special buses to be operated for Tirupati Brahmotsavam

Tambaram: Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has announced special buses connecting Tirupati from various parts of the state to manage crowds heading to participate in the Brahmotsavam festival.

“As a large number of people are expected to attend the Brahmotsavom festival, SETC will operate special buses from Chennai, Trichy, Thanjavur, Salem, Coimbatore, Madurai, Karaikudi, Kumbakonam and Pondicherry to Tirupati for the convenience devotees from October 13 to October 26,” the release said issued by the Managing Director of SETC said.

The release added that an online pre-booking facility has been made for the special buses from today and the devotees are advised to book their tickets using the TNSTC official app or through www.tnstc.in to avoid rush.

Tirumala Brahmotsavam is an annual festival, which is celebrated at the sacred Tirumala Temple in Andhra Pradesh during nine days of Dussehra Navratri and this year the festival will take place from October 15 to October 23, 2023, with different events scheduled each day.
