Tambaram: The first single from the upcoming Tamil film Jigarthanda Double X, Maamadura has been released. The song is sung by Dhee and Santhosh Narayanan with lyrics by Vivek.
The lyrics for the song were written by Vivek. The song has a classic ‘dappankuthu’ or party beat, which has been enhanced by the music composer.
Dhee’s voice couples really well with the beat, probably making it one of the best party anthems to come out this year.
The film starring SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence in the lead roles, is a sequel to the 2013 film, which starred Siddharth and Bobby Simha.
Scheduled to release for Diwali, the sequel will also be helmed by filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj who directed the original as well. Nimisha Sajayan, who recently was seen in Chithha, is also part of the sequel.
