Leo gets 13 cuts in censor

Tambaram: Vijay’s film Leo has been ceritified by the Censor Board but not without a few changes.

The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and it is a part of his ‘Lokesh Cinematic Universe’. Slated to release on October 19, Leo has been certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification.

The Board has reportedly also ordered 13 changes to the film, including muting swear words used in the film.

The Censor Certificate of Leo has been going viral on X (previously known as Twitter) and it shows the 13 changes that the CBFC has asked Lokesh Kanagaraj to make.

Besides ordering the team to mute the swear words, the board has also asked the team to make ammends to the gore scenes in the film. Following the changes and cuts, Leo will have a run time of 164 minutes (2 hours 44 minutes).

Leo is an action thriller which also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin and Priya Anand in pivotal roles.
