A self defence awareness campaign sponsored by Sarchanbudo Martial Arts Academy in association with Air Force Families Welfare Association (AFFWA) was conducted recently.
A press release said that the founder of Sarchanbudo Martial Arts Academy Shihan Saravanan gave a discourse on threats and harassments faced by women including Chain snatching, molestation, rape and murder.
“Along with his team Saravanan demonstrated and gave training to the participant ladies the counter measures and the techniques as to how to protect themselves from the untoward happenings. More than 100 ladies took part & benefited in this workshop,” the release added.
